Babysteps exists to help estate agents work together instead of against each other. When one agent has a buyer and another has the right property, they should be able to close the deal together — and split it fairly, on whatever terms the two of them agree.
That’s the whole idea behind the network: your client falls in love with a home two countries away, and instead of losing them, you partner with a Babysteps member who holds that property. You close it together. The agent who posts a listing always decides who they work with, and Babysteps takes no commission and imposes no split — we simply make the connection possible and keep it trustworthy.

The people behind it
Babysteps is built and run by Babysteps Real Estate SL, based in Alicante, Spain, as a partnership between founder Jacques C. Schandorff and his father and co-founder Jacques H. Schandorff. We come from the industry ourselves, with roots on both sides of the map — Belgian and Spanish — which is exactly where the idea of a borderless network was born.
We’re a small, hands-on team that builds its own technology: the network, the maps, the public portal and the tools members use every day. That means we move quickly, listen to the agents who use it, and keep improving the platform based on what actually helps close deals.
